Working with and assisting our social media manager, this position involves strong writing skills and SEO optimization of imagery for our 2 websites, including maintaining and developing a blog for social media, Twitter, Google Plus, etc. In addition, help with physical organization of back-up disc archives for about 1 hour a week would be appreciated. Our home office is located in the Coolidge Corner, Brookline area, which is T accessible, parking is also available. We are looking for someone 10 hours a week to start, preferably Tuesdays and Thursdays (flexible). Brand Marketing Fall 2016 Internship, The Charles Hotel »

The Charles Hotel is seeking a Brand Marketing Intern to join the hotel marketing department for the Fall 2016 semester. The Brand Marketing Intern (BMI) will work closely with, and directly report to, the Brand Marketing Manager (BMM) and will also collaborate with the property’s Social Media Specialist and Director of Sales & Marketing. Some examples of projects the BMI will work on include:
  • Help launch new guest experience programs on-property
  • Optimize digital marketing assets currently in-market
  • Assist with management of PR/marketing campaign calendar
  • Design new communications for on-property guest engagement

The ideal candidate for the BMI position will possess a clear passion for hospitality marketing and must demonstrate strong communications and creative writing skills. In addition, the ideal BMI candidate will possess general understanding of fundamental marketing principles, have a desire to learn all aspects of hospitality marketing and be at least a rising sophomore enrolled in a hospitality program. Start and end dates are flexible as well as weekly schedule.
